Sydney Haug is a Midwest-based artist whose work incorporates her love for color, whimsy, and the natural beauty of botanicals. Born and raised in the Saint Louis area, she was encouraged throughout her grade school years to be part of the art scene, sparking her early love for creative expression. Over the years, she’s called Chicago and now Kansas City, MO, home, with each Midwest city contributing to the rich palette of experiences that inspire her art. With a degree in Art Therapy, Sydney has always been drawn to the healing power of creativity. She spent several years as a middle school art teacher, where she helped students find their voice and develop confidence through self-expression.

As a wife, mom, and dog mom, she finds joy in the everyday moments of family life—Now, in Kansas City, Sydney continues to create joyful, color-filled works.
